Have 5 spare minutes? Here are a few simple, fun ideas for how to create good: 2) Recycle Your Glasses 3) Remind 5 Friends to Create an ICE Contact 4) Show Family and Friends How to Prepare for an Emergency
1) Box Tops & Labels for Education
This project is perfect for those with hectic schedules- just snip and clip Box Tops and Campbells Soup and Labels for Education and bring them along to a meeting or mail them to our vp Foundation. Our collection of labels helps to generate extra funding for books and equipment for sight impaired children.
Throughout the year we collect used eyewear and donate them to the Lions Club International. The glasses are then cleaned and adjusted and given to people of all ages who are in need.
ICE stands for “in case of emergency” and identifies a contact on your cellphone who can provide information to emergency medical technicians, firefighters or police.
