Convention 2008 was HOT...and I mean really hot as record daytime temperatures reached 118 degrees! Our days were packed with events, speakers, general and breakout sessions and award receptions. Amazing women of all ages from all over the US and Canada gathered to celebrate sisterhood, exchange ideas, and support our philanthropy.
I am absolutely bursting with pride as the Seattle Area Alumnae chapter was acknowleged and awarded both regionally and nationally. We were honored with Foundation's most prestigious award the H.K. Stuart Spirit of Service award plus a donation will be sent to a program of our choice. In addition, we also received the National Alumnae Excellence Award and Region 7 awards for Excellence in Programming & Innovation and Outstanding Philanthropy Fundraising.
Many thanks to all the AMAZING DGs and volunteers for their inspiration, teamwork, and love which allowed our chapter to shine so brightly.
